Times Up

My week off work is coming to a close. At least this week is ending on a sunny warm note, Monday through Thursday were rainy and chilly. But now it is starting to feel like spring. I took the mole rats to the mall to do some spring shopping, we spent most of the afternoon there and there really was not a lot to show for it when we got home.

I am very proud of myself, not once did I check work email this week. I just needed a clean break from work after our busy months. Things went ok this year, some things could have went better but we all did what we can. Two of the temps I had really pushed the limits of my patience the last couple of weeks. Those that know me would most likely say “What patience Molie?” But I put up with more than I should have in the name of getting the job done. Both temps were asked to leave with only two days left in their stint to go.

I have a new boss beginning, she started last week. I am hoping she works out, I feel optimistic about this. She was the best candidate we met with, I just hope those qualities in her interview carry over to the actual job.

I think I am going to enjoy this nice weather by going for a walk, taking the plastic off the windows and planting some wildflowers in containers. I’m not much of a gardener but wildflowers should be easy enough right? Right?
