Molemarks: Spiral Frog

I use Rhapsody to listen to and find new music, and have the to-go service where I can download that music onto my mp3 player, and I love it. But if your budget is tight you can download free music legally onto your (compatible or play sure) mp3 player or phone using Spiral Frog.

You need to renew the music each month in order to continue to play it . There is a download that is required however they state the download manager malware free.

They seem to have a pretty wide selection of music to choose from and from the looks of it they add new music weekly.

Check them out at SpiralFrog.com

Merry Christmas!

Shrek the Halls: Puss in Boots

In this clip from Shrek the Halls, Puss in Boots tells his own version of The Night Before Christmas. Being a cat owner this scene had me rolling.

I love watching the Rankin/Bass Christmas specials every year. My favorite is Year Without a Santa Claus, followed by Rudolph (best songs), then Santa Claus is Coming to Town.

How can anyone hate a villain named Burgermeister Meisterburger? With a name like that you can’t take him seriously. Burgermeister Meisterburger…HAH!

Although I admit I was never really a fan of the Frosty the Snowman cartoon. I found the characters rather whiny and annoying, although it’s a fun holiday song.

Holy Ice Sheets Batman

A rant.

I hate people who don’t shovel their sidewalks after a snow storm. It snowed about 6 inches Saturday night into Sunday morning. The snow turned to freezing rain, then rain. This is on top of the six inches we got on Thursday.

I wish they would seriously fine people who don’t shovel. You end up having to walk in the streets which were plowed half-assed and are now covered in about an inch and a half of ice All while dodging oncoming cars.  It took me twice as long (if not more) to walk from the corner store to my house on my way home tonight which is normally about a 4 min. walk.

I despise those people who only shovel a walkway from their porch to their driveway and to hell with the rest of their property.  You all suck.

Tuesday Tunes: 80’s Chords

This tune sung by Rob Balder was emailed yesterday from one of my co-workers. This ditty can be filed under “it’s funny because it’s true.” If you are a child of the 80’s it will give you a warm tingly feeling of nostalgia when he begins to put 80’s song lyrics to the keyboard chords.

My internet has been running very slowly. It’s very frustrating. As I sat here thinking “this is frickin’ crazy!” the chorus to Suicidal Tendencies “Institutionalized” popped into my head unbidden. So I thought Hey! That will be my song for the day.

It’s best if you read the lyrics with it. (lyrics after the jump) This song for some reason has always amused me. Now where’s my Pepsi!
